Description :	Velours rouge et huile sur toile. Fonds en velours violet uni. A l'avers, dans une toile peinte ovale, peinture de saint Martin évêque, en blanc, les bras ouverts, tenant de la main gauche un parchemin portant les mots IN XPO JHU PER EVANG EGO VOS GENO. L'auréole dorée du saint porte les mots ST MARTIN EPISC TURON. En arrière plan sont représentées les deux tours subsistantes de la basilique Saint-Martin de Tours et à droite le portail de l'abbaye de Marmoutiers. Au revers, les lettres dorées S et M sont entrelacées.

Historique :	La même représentation de saint Martin sous la forme d'un simple dessin, figure sur une bannière dans l'église de Truyes (37). Les deux bannières ont donc utilisé le même modèle (tableau ? gravure ?). (source : Frantz Schoenstein). L'inventaire de 1906 indique : une bannière de velours rouge représentant saint Martin : 100 fr.
