Historique :	Visiblement une oeuvre originale. Selon la légende, l'évêque breton Gratien, revenant d'un pèlerinage en terre sainte, fut massacré avec ses compagnons par les païens, sur les bords de la Riolle entre Bournan et Sepmes au VIIIe s. (Frantz Schoenstein). L'inventaire de 1906 indique : (dans le sanctuaire) à droite et à gauche au-dessus des scellements des grilles, deux statues sur socle, en plâtre, haut 1,40 m, représentant à gauche saint Ludovic et à droite saint Gratien.
